MMU’s High Achievers Receive Takaful Protection worth of RM10 million from HLMT

Hong Leong MISG Takaful (HLMT) Berhad presented Takaful Protection worth of RM 10 million to 100 final year students during the opening ceremony of the 20^th MMU Convocation Festival (Convofest) at Siti Hasmah Digital Library in Cyberjaya recently. The takaful value sponsored for each selected student is RM100, 000.

This initiative is part of HLMT’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with identified community, which involved several of tertiary education institutions this year. HLMT also offers career development for students through a collaboration with MMU Career Connect.

The sponsorship was presented by Mr. Asri Omar, Chief Operating Executive (CEO) of HLMT to Prof. Dr. HO Chin Kuan, Vice President (Academic and Internationalisation) of MMU. The session was also witnessed by MMU Pro-Chancellor, Academician Prof. Tan Sri Dr. Zakri Abdul Hamid, faculty deans, staff and students.
