MMU Bags Silver Medal at SI2TE 2019

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Saifullah Iqbal from Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) secured the silver medal with his final year project, Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) at the SIRIM Invention, Innovation & Technology Expo (SI2TE) 2019 in Kedah recently. Nearly 250 inventions from schools, academic institutions, and research institutes from all over Malaysia participated in this technology expo.

Under the supervision of Dr. Yeo Boo Chin, the ASRS system is suitable for small-scale warehouses and enterprise applications, especially for automated warehouse management and monitoring purposes. In addition, the same project was also demonstrated to Tuan Haji Rosli Man, the Chairman of Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Mr. Imri Mokhtar, TM Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) during their visit to Melaka campus last March. It is hoped that this success will further inspire more future achievements.
