Dr. Rathimala Kannan, a lecturer from the Faculty of Management (FOM) won Best Presentation Award at The 2nd International Conference on Software Engineering and Information Management (ICSIM 2019) and its workshop: The 2nd International Conference on Big Data and Smart Computing (ICBDSC 2019) in Bali, Indonesia. The conference was co-organised by Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Indonesia and Kalbis Institute, Indonesia from 10 until 13 January 2019.
With her paper entitled ‘Social Networking Sites as Communication Tool for Dengue Related Healthcare and Wellness Information’, she was honoured with the award. The conference was attended by researchers from USA, Australia, Canada, Korea, Indonesia, Japan, India, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Jordan.
The ICSIM 2019 & ICBDSC 2019 served as an avenue for academics, researchers and professionals in the field of Software Engineering, Information Management, Big Data and Smart Computing to sharing experience, to foster collaborations across industry and academia as well as to evaluate emerging technologies across the globe.
