MMU Student Wins the MIA Best Accounting Student Award 2018

We are proud to announce that Muhammad Zahir bin Mokhtar, a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) student of Faculty of Management (FOM) won the Best Accounting Student Award 2018 from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) at the MIA International Accountants Conference (MIAC) 2018. The event was held at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 10^th October 2018.

The award is to acknowledge the outstanding students of Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) of universities recognised by MIA under Part I of the First Schedule of the Accountants Act 1967. Muhammad Zahir was selected due to his exceptional performance in both academics and extra-curricular activities and his good personal attributes. He received the certificate of merit, cash prize sponsored by MIA and special fee waiver to enrol for the ACA programme of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
