Three films produced by the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) students have been awarded the “Dana Mikro Graduan Perfileman” (Micro Grant for Graduate Filmmakers) by the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas), recently. Unspoken Words by Lucky Pictures received RM5000, while Terang by Cahaya Bulan Productions and CCTV by Kita Films each received RM10,000.

This grant supports students from film, communication, media, and related programs in creating high-quality short films. By providing resources and encouragement, it helps young filmmakers develop their ideas and showcase their unique perspectives. Beyond enhancing their credibility, the grant nurtures a new generation of filmmakers who contribute to the creative industry while promoting unity, harmony, and patriotism through their work.

Such initiatives are essential in fostering the growth and development of young filmmakers, providing them with the support and opportunities needed to bring their creative visions to life and contribute to the future of industry. They serve as a reminder that filmmaking is not just about individual talent but also about the strength of community and the encouragement that help students and emerging filmmakers succeed.

Congratulations! Keep creating and striving for greatness!
