OARS Club Provides Iftar for the Homeless Community

On 8 March 2025, the Outdoor Activities and Recreational Society (OARS) of MMU Cyberjaya, in collaboration with the non-governmental organization (NGO) iMadina, organised the “We Care Project”, a volunteer initiative dedicated to supporting the homeless community in Kuala Lumpur, particularly in the Chow Kit area.

A total of 25 OARS members and three alumni took part in this noble effort, preparing and distributing packed meals to those in need at the Chow Kit Community Education Center. In addition to hands-on volunteering, the team also initiated a fundraising campaign, successfully collecting donations to further support the project’s mission.

This initiative reflects OARS’ commitment to community service and underscores the spirit of compassion and solidarity among MMU students and alumni. Through projects like this, OARS continues to make a meaningful impact by extending kindness and support to the less fortunate.
