MMU researchers have once again showcased their excellence at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) – International Innovation Awards (IIA) 2025, held from 20 to 22 February 2025 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).

The 24th edition of MTE continues to be one of Asia’s premier platforms for innovation, attracting 438 entries from 12 countries, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, China, and the United States. With 86 international exhibitors and a hybrid format combining virtual and in-person participation, the event fosters global collaboration and technological advancements.

As a result, MMU brought home one Special Award, two Gold medals, three Silver medals, and one Bronze medal. The list of winning projects is as follows:
