Muslim Staff Encouraged to Fulfill Zakat Obligation at YUM Counter

In fulfilling the religious obligation of zakat, MMU staff are encouraged to make their zakat payments conveniently at the Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) counter, located at STARBEES in the Cyberjaya campus.

Demonstrating exemplary leadership, MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, was the first to make his zakat payment at the YUM counter during his visit on 3 March 2024. To further encourage participation, YUM has prepared special tokens of appreciation for staff who visit and make their zakat payments at the counter. As an added gesture, staff who contribute RM1,000 or more will receive a complimentary copy of the Al-Quran Terjemahan Lafziyyah.
