A group of students from Daegu University, Yeungnam University, and Kyungil University in South Korea gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship and student startups during an engaging session with the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) on 19 February 2025. This session was part of their visit, organised by the International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE), which hosted the international students at the university.

During the session, the Korean students gained perspectives into the challenges, opportunities, and strategies involved in building successful business ventures within a university setting. On top of that, four Korean students also took the stage to share their entrepreneurial journeys and showcase their business ventures, sparking enriching discussions among participants.

Beyond the insightful session, the visiting students were given a campus tour, where they explored faculties and on campus facilities. This engagement serves as a platform for cross-cultural knowledge exchange, fostering entrepreneurial mindsets among students from both nations. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue to inspire and equip young entrepreneurs with the skills and confidence to drive innovation and create impactful businesses in the future.
