The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) Alumni Committee hosted its Alumni Sharing Session with Mr. Muhammad Jalaluddin Jamri, a Field Service Engineer at Cohu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., on 24 January 2025. Titled “My Journey After MMU,” Mr. Jalaluddin shared his career journey with 27 engineering students in an engaging online session.
A Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electronics (Telecommunication) graduate from the Class of 2021, Mr. Jalaluddin provided valuable insights into his transformation from an undergraduate student at FET to a professional in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry. His experiences and guidance inspired students to remain optimistic in pursuing their career aspirations. Additionally, he also offered practical advice on job interview preparation, equipping participants with essential tips to navigate the transition from university to the workforce.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage with the speaker. Participants provided positive feedback, describing the session as informative and relevant in preparing them for the working world. Many expressed enthusiasms for more alumni sharing sessions in the future.
