A total of 540 exceptional students from the Faculty of Management (FOM), representing diploma, foundation, and degree programs, were celebrated for their outstanding academic achievements and unwavering dedication at an event held on 22 January 2025. The ceremony commenced with an inspiring speech by the Dean, Dr. Low Jing Hong, who emphasised the importance of academic excellence and perseverance. Following his address, the Dean personally presented certificates to the well-deserving recipients.
The students recognised included 38 from the Foundation in Management, 8 from the Diploma in Management, 28 from the Diploma in Finance, 48 from the Bachelor of Analytical Economics, 55 from the Bachelor of Marketing, 86 from the Bachelor of Management, 64 from the Bachelor of Accounting, 100 from the Bachelor of Finance, 24 from the Bachelor of Financial Engineering, and 89 from the Bachelor of Digital Enterprise Management programs. These students exemplified the highest standards of scholarship and commitment to their studies.
The event was further distinguished by the presence of Deputy Deans, Dr. Abby Ashraff Saparudin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, who shared in the celebration of these remarkable achievements. To enhance the festive atmosphere, Ms. Khairyna Raihany Bt Khamidon, one of MMU’s talented performers, captivated the audience with a memorable musical performance.
The Dean’s List Award Ceremony serves as both a celebration and a motivation for students to continue striving for excellence in their academic pursuits. It also encourages future students to set high standards for themselves and aspire to the same level of academic achievement.
