Leveraging Accounting Knowledge in the World of Stock Trading

On 14 January 2025, the Faculty of Business (FOB) organised an exciting industrial visit to Asri Ahmad Academy in Batu Caves for diploma and degree accounting students. The visit featured an inspiring session with the academy’s founder, Dato’ Mohd Asri Ahmad, who shared insights on leveraging accounting knowledge in the world of stock trading.

During the session, Dato’ Mohd Asri introduced students to practical strategies for making informed investment decisions, demonstrating how accounting principles play a crucial role in analysing financial markets. His real-world examples and actionable tips made the session both engaging and highly informative for aspiring investors.

The students were accompanied by Ms. Fathiah Hashim, Ms. Siti Zarifah Amir, and Ms. Maliza Binti Mohd Nor, ensuring a well-supported and enriching learning experience.
