A total of 115 students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) participated in the PETRONAS Adjunct Lecture, held at the FET Robospace on 7 January 2025. Organised by FET’s Industrial Linkage Committee, the lecture featured four insightful sessions led by adjunct lecturers from PETRONAS.
Mr. Mohd Shahrul Izwan Tami and Ir. Abdul Latif Mohamed delivered an engaging session on “Centrifugal Compressor Site Performance Analysis.” This was followed by Ms. Naila Rusma Binti Idris, who shared her in-depth knowledge on “Pipeline Integrity Management System.” Ms. Aisyah Ahmad then provided thought-provoking insights into “Risk Assessment in Pipeline Engineering,” and the day concluded with an inspiring session by Ts. Mohamed Ali Bin Abdullah on “Robotic Advanced Autonomous Pipeline Inspection (RAPI): OPEX Optimisation for Un-Piggable Vent Line/Low Flow Pipeline.”
The event served as a valuable platform for students to explore cutting-edge advancements in pipeline and compressor technologies, bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial expertise. The sessions encouraged students to better prepare for future challenges in their respective fields.
