In its effort to strengthen academia-industry relations, MMU has taken another significant step forward by conferring an Adjunct Professorship appointment to Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, Chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). This appointment was presented by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, during the grand closing ceremony of the second cohort of the Accelerated Leadership Programme Series (ALPS) held at Zenith Hotel, Putrajaya, on 16 December 2024.

The ceremony, organised by CNERGY and MCMC, celebrated the achievements of 40 MCMC officers who successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees under the ALPS programme under the Faculty of Business (FOB) coordination. Senior leaders of MCMC were also present to commemorate the occasion. Through this rigorous and transformative journey, the graduates have been equipped with advanced knowledge, strategic leadership skills, and the resilience to turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

The ALPS programme underscores MMU’s commitment to nurturing leaders capable of driving innovation and transformation in Malaysia’s communication and multimedia sectors. This milestone further strengthens the collaboration between both institutions, reflecting a shared vision to empower the next generation of leaders to shape the future of the communication industry.

Also present at the event were Puan Nor Adni’ Ismail, Vice President of Finance and Business Ventures, Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of the Faculty of Business (FOB), Mr. Norkhairul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of CNERGY, and other officers from MMU and CNERGY.
