FOB Student Wins Double Medals at ASEAN Invitational ITF Singapore Taekwon-Do Championship 2024

Let us congratulate our student from the Faculty of Business (FOB), Andrew Tang Jia Hong clinched gold and silver medal at the ASEAN Invitational ITF Singapore recently. Jia Hong secured the medals for Individual Sparring (age 19-20, weight 63-70kg) and Individual Pattern (age 18-50, 1DAN) respectively.

The tournament, organised by the International Taekwon-Do Federation Singapore and affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation Vienna, Austria, attracted 181 participants from four countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Jia Hong also contributed to the event by serving as an umpire, adding to his impressive involvement in the Taekwon-Do community. The ASEAN ITF Taekwon-Do Championship, an annual invitational event, serves as a platform for Taekwon-Do practitioners across ASEAN to test their skills and share their passion for martial arts.
