The Faculty of Business (FOB) warmly welcomed 15 delegates from Pakuan University (UNPAK), Indonesia, on 3 December 2024. The delegation, led by Dr. Retno Martanti Endah Lestari, was received by Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of FOB, alongside her staff members. This meaningful exchange served as a platform to strengthen academic and administrative collaboration between the two institutions.

The day was packed with enriching activities, including a classroom experience where UNPAK students joined FOB classes to experience MMU’s dynamic learning environment, and guest lectures delivered by UNPAK lecturers, who engaged students and faculty in thought-provoking discussions. Preliminary dialogues for future International Business Innovation Challenge (IBIC) competitions fostered a spirit of healthy academic rivalry, while UNPAK’s HR office representatives engaged in in-depth discussions with FOB administrators to exchange insights on university operations. Additionally, a mini colloquium allowed faculty members from both universities to present research ideas, paving the way for potential joint research projects.

Following a delightful lunch, the delegates explored MMU’s facilities, touring prominent areas such as the SHDL, Learning Point, and the CLC. They were also briefed on MMU’s innovative Student Representative Council (SRC) e-voting system, gaining valuable insights into the university’s technological advancements in democratic practices. This event not only reinforced the ties between MMU and UNPAK but also showcased MMU’s commitment to fostering international collaboration, enriching its academic ecosystem, and promoting cross-cultural exchanges.
