The MUET Webinar 2024 hosted by the Learning Institute for Empowerment (LIfE), took place on 16 and 17 November 2024. This event brought together 73 participants from both campuses, all eager to enhance their English proficiency in preparation for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
The webinar featured a distinguished panel of speakers, each specialising in one of the four key language skills tested in MUET. Associate Professor Dr. Ng Yu Jin delivered an insightful session focused on effective communication and confidence-building for speaking skills. Mdm. Maziyah Hj Mazlan guided participants on strategies to improve active listening and comprehension, while Mdm. Nordaslina Md Dasuki shared techniques for efficient reading and understanding complex texts.
Mr. Divakaran Adiyam Purath Kunjan provided practical tips for crafting coherent and impactful written responses. Participants gained valuable benefits from the webinar, including enhanced proficiency across all four language skills assessed in MUET, effective test preparation strategies to boost confidence and readiness for the exam, and improved English language and communication skills.
Overall, the MUET Webinar 2024 was a great success, fostering a dynamic environment of learning and collaboration. It empowered students with the tools and confidence needed to excel in their MUET examinations and beyond.
