In a grand celebration of dedication and achievement, MMU, through its Human Capital Management (HCM) division, hosted the MMU Staff Awards 2024 to honor outstanding staff contributions. The event kicked off with a speech by Ms. Hayati Othman, Senior Director of Human Capital Management (HCM).
MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, graced the event and what made this year’s event particularly special was the attendance of two former MMU Presidents—Tan Sri Prof. Dr. Ghauth Jasmon and Prof. Dr. Zaharin Yusoff—who returned to present the Long Service Awards, recognising the unwavering commitment of long-serving staff members.
The ceremony also highlighted recipients across various categories, including the Excellent Teaching Award, Excellent Research Award, Excellent Entrepreneurship Mentor Award, Excellent Support Staff Award (Executive), Excellent Support Staff Award (Non-Executive), and the prestigious MMU Star Award (Group and Individual). These awards reflected MMU’s ongoing commitment to recognising and fostering excellence in teaching, research, entrepreneurship, and administrative support. The event celebrated not just individual achievements but the collective spirit of dedication that drives MMU forward as a leader in higher education.
