Muhammad Amin Rafiq bin Abu Supian, a student from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), has made the university proud by securing a spot in the Top 5 at the MYStartup Pre-Accelerator Cohort 4. As a finalist, Amin walked away with a cash prize of RM35,000 for his groundbreaking startup, IOXTECH GLOBAL on 7October 2024.

The competition, powered by Cradle, brought together twelve finalists who pitched innovative projects across diverse industries such as FinTech, HealthTech, and AgriTech. After months of intense mentorship and training, Amin captivated the judges at Demo Day with his standout pitch for IOXTECH GLOBAL, an all-in-one construction companion powered by Geo-Fencing technology. The startup aims to revolutionise construction project management by offering seamless HR solutions and progress claim reporting, driving greater efficiency in the industry.
