On 5 October 2024, the MMU Employee Social and Recreational Alliance (MESRA) Club organised a vibrant Penalty Shootout Competition at the MMU Stadium, Cyberjaya Campus. The event saw enthusiastic participation from current MMU staff, former employees, and representatives from TM R&D, fostering a strong sense of community. It provided an exciting opportunity for both current and former staff members to bond through friendly competition. Despite a brief morning drizzle, spirits remained high, and the participants continued with great enthusiasm.
In addition to the penalty shootout, the MESRA Club also organized a colouring competition for the children of participants, divided into three age categories: 8 years old, 9 years old, and 11 years old. This initiative added a family-friendly element to the event, making it enjoyable for all attendees.
Overall, the event was a commendable effort to bridge the gap between current and retired staff from MMU and TM, creating a platform for networking, fun, and camaraderie. The day concluded on a positive note, with both adults and children leaving with memorable experiences.
