On 3 October 2024, MMU solidified its commitment to advancing research and innovation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SDS Associates Sdn Bhd at the Cyberjaya campus. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Dato’ Ho Chi Kian, Director of SDS Associates, marking a significant milestone in their collaborative efforts to foster research excellence and knowledge exchange within the university community.
SDS Associates Sdn Bhd is renowned for its innovative approach, particularly in the burgeoning field of eye-tracking technology. This partnership promises to enrich the academic landscape by bridging the gap between industry and academia, thereby enhancing practical learning opportunities for students and faculty alike.
Among the attendees at the signing ceremony were Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (VP MEET), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Junaidi Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Computing & Informatics, along with other faculty members.
This MoU is expected to not only enhance MMU’s research capabilities but also contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of eye-tracking technology, ultimately benefiting both the university and the broader industry.
