FCM Student Wins Top Prize at Poetry Declamation Competition

Muhammad Faris Fiqran bin Muhamad, a student from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), took center stage when he was announced as the champion of the Open Category at the Sayembara Deklamasi Puisi Sains dan Teknologi Peringkat Negeri Kelantan 2024. Faris walked away with a cash prize of RM600, a trophy, and a certificate.  

For the preliminary stage, he submitted a video of his poetry declamation, and he was selected as one of the top 13 finalists in his category. The event, organised by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Wilayah Timur (DBPWT) and Gabungan Penulis-Penulis Muda Negeri Kelantan (GEMA), with the support of the Kelantan State Government and the Kelantan State Education Department, also featured categories for primary and secondary school students.
