A group of students and staff from the Faculty of Management (FOM) recently engaged in an innovative learning experience using LEGO blocks for Serious Play, recently. The session was jointly organised by the Entrepreneurship class under the tutelage of Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abd Rahim, and the Centre of Excellence for Knowledge and Innovation Management (CEKIM).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elaine Chew Yin Teng from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Vietnam, who also holds the esteemed title of Certified LEGO Serious Play Instructor conducted the session. Participants immersed themselves in discovering how LEGO blocks can enhance the teaching and learning process across various subjects.
A similar session took place earlier for the Entrepreneurship class led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Jeen Wei. The event was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Deputy Dean of Research and Industrial Collaboration (FOM), who delivered a closing speech and presented the speaker with a certificate of appreciation.
