Let us congratulate our students across different faculties representing Multimedia University (MMU) who attended the Best Diplomats Conference 2024 as the Malaysia Conference Coordinators on 25 January 2024 at Sunway Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The students were Aw Jie Zhi from the Faculty of Business (FOB), Tan Sze Min from Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FOB), Ng Jin Yang (FOB), Lim Kai En (FIST), Nur Maisarah Mohammad Saifrol (FIST), Abimanyu Sivasankar (Faculty of Computing & Informatics), Wong Yu Ting (FIST), Cheang Tang Xing (FIST) and Jeffrey Quek Shue Yew (FOB alumni).
Best Diplomats Conference is an international diplomatic simulation conference which gathered more than 150 delegates from various countries including the United States of America, Bangladesh, Tanzania, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Fiji, Democratic Republic of Congo and more.
For this year’s event, delegates and diplomatic experts from various countries also convened at the venue to discuss on an interesting topic titled “Protecting the Rights of Refugees Children in Developed Countries, Focusing on SDG 10.” This conference also served as an avenue for delegates to understand the global issues, diplomatic negotiations and functioning of international organisations. Our students are greatly benefitted in terms of social skills development.
