The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) hosted its initiation ceremony, which was graced by the presence of Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU. In his speech, Prof. Dato’ congratulated the newly appointed SRC members, which is led by Mr. Thaniges Kumar. He also encouraged the student-leaders to continue doing their best and committed to the welfare and empowerment of the student community.
As for challenges, the leaders should embrace them with resilience, learn from them with an open mind, and use them as stepping stones toward positive change. Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (MEET), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, Dean of Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Mdm Sri Kusuma Wati Mohd Daud, Director of Student Lifestyle and Experience (STyLE) former SRC members, and representatives from the clubs and societies also attended the event.
