The Vice President of Academic and Innovative Learning (VP AIR) office conducted a two-day workshop on academic process walkthrough from 27 February until 28 February 2023 at the Main Hall, Melaka campus. The workshop was attended by 20 academic volunteers, 9 faculty Quality representatives (QR), and 10 faculty Document Controllers (DC).
Participants were divided into 4 groups where each group discussed different academic processes at different parts of the trimester. Each group was assisted by two facilitators and two assistant facilitators. The session aimed to understand the process academics go through during the trimester, to revise unnecessary academic-related processes, and to establish new academic processes based on the attendees’ input.
The closing ceremony of the workshop was graced by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU. During the session, he had the opportunity to engage with the attendees. Also present were Prof. Dr. Wong Hin Yong, VP AIR; Dr. Mohd Rizal Abdul Razak, Director of Melaka campus and Nur Azurah Rezo, Academic Registrar. All in all, the workshop achieved its objectives of ensuring a better academic process for our students.
