Boosting Digital Literacy among Young Children

A total of 11 primary and secondary students attended a Microsoft Powerpoint workshop at IBiZ Lab, Melaka campus on 16th December 2022. Organised by the Faculty of Business (FOB), the workshop was facilitated by Ms. Sharmila Rani Moganadas and Ms. Lim Su Yin. The workshop aimed to develop basic Powerpoint and presentation skills among students, where they were encouraged to develop a creative presentation based on a particular theme given. The facilitators shared some insights on converting their presentations into videos.   

The students were engaged in a fun learning atmosphere, which allowed them to exchange ideas and mingle with each other. At the end of the session, Dr. Lye Chun Teck, Dean of FOB, presented certificates of participation to all students who attended the workshop. In brief, the workshop benefited the young children in an informative and exciting way.
