Multimedia University Business Society (MUBS) successfully hosted a two-day event, #Kitasama Blood Donation Drive with more than 300 people donating their blood on 13 & 14th December 2022 at Central Learning Complex (CLC), Melaka campus. With its theme, ‘Giving Where We Can, Sharing Because We Care’, the event was jointly organised with Jabatan Transfusi Darah Hospital Melaka, Junior Chamber International Malacca City Entrepreneur (JCI MCE), UNICEF Malaysia and supported by the Faculty of Business and MMU Occupational, Safety, Health and Environment Department (OSHE).
The event also featured Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Exhibition and Quiz Interactive Session by Junior Chamber International, Melaka where the audience gained insights and challenges as well as its impact on our society and community development. The exhibition has raised awareness, exposure and action towards the 17 United Nation SDGs including poverty, hunger, education, and others. This would help the attendees, especially students to foster a sense of global connection and empathy for the earth as a whole.
