Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU led the “Jelajah Hibrid MMU Oasis 2022” together with the delegation made a visit to three schools namely Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Changlun, Kedah; SMK Seberang Jaya, Penang and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Slim River on 5,6 and 8 December 2022. The delegation received a warm welcome from school principals; Pn. Hajah Zainab Yaman, Pn. Hamidah Jailani and En. Mohd Norzalan Mohd Hassan together with the school community.
This programme served as an avenue to share knowledge and digital technology skills as well as to connect MMU with other schools. On top of that, the programme also allows the MMU community to work together with the school community in enhancing digital literacy in education and it is in line with MMU’s goal of producing future digital leaders for the nation.
Prof. Dato’ and the delegation also had the opportunity to visit SMK Seri Mahawangsa during the first day of the programme. The visit was to officially appoint the school as ‘Sekolah Angkat MMU’ under the ‘Program Sekolah Generasi Multimedia’. Puan Fathiiyah Mohd Pozi, the school principal received the certificate of appointment during the event. It is hoped that these relationships would be strengthened and more collaborative efforts could be implemented for the education of our younger generation.
