Career Connect continues to engage and build a good relationship with the industry players as their involvement plays a vital role in cultivating industry-ready graduates for the future workforce. On 6th September 2022, Career Connect team visited KPMG Malaysia and was warmly welcomed by Mdm Munera Zaiman Oseman, Head of Talent Engagement & Acquisition. The team also made a visit to Deriv Sdn. Bhd. and was greeted by Mr. Ben Ramachandran, Talent and Acquisition Executive on 13th September.
On top of that, the visit continued with Quandatics Sdn. Bhd. on 14th September 2022 and was hosted by Ms. Tess Tan, Programme Director. Career Connect was represented by Mr. Albert Quek, Deputy Director, and Mr. Faizal Jewari. These visits aimed to discuss further the potential collaboration between MMU and the companies through i-Cadet initiative, the Industry Handshake programme as well as internship placement. It is hoped that this effort will attract more partners and collaborators in sharing the current demands and needs of the industry and assist the university in producing great talents for the future.
