We would like to express our heartiest congratulations to two MMU teams for emerging champions at a pitch competition, ACTiON: Cultivating A Giving Generation on 3rd September 2022.
Mentored by Mr. Vincent Chan from the Faculty of Business (FOB), MMU Team 1 consisted of Jogtika Ramasamy from the Faculty of Management (FOM), Raisa Alam (FOM), Chelsea Joy Vilson (FOM), Dashania Elvira Gregory (FOB) with their preferred beneficial group, Humanitarian, while MMU Team 2 represented by Clarice Lee Kah Yee from the Faculty of Law (FOL), Lashvini Velao (FOB) and Sarveishini (FOB) with their preferred beneficial group: Wildlife. Both teams brought home cash prizes worth RM800, vouchers, and plaques.
Organised by Sunway Student Ambassador (Sunway University), the competition served as an avenue for participants to pitch a constructive solution to the problem statement under their preferred beneficial groups: Environment, Humanitarian, and Wildlife. Our students presented their ideas to the public and honourable partners, participated in insightful workshops as well as received the opportunity to collaborate with the sector’s partnering organisation to materialise the solution.
