MMU Staff and Students Participate in Poetry Writing Workshop

In conjunction with the Sambutan Bulan Kebangsaan 2022, a group of MMU staff and students participated in the poetry writing workshop on 25th August 2022 at the Cyberjaya campus. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU also attended the workshop and delivered his welcoming remark to all participants.

The workshop was conducted by Yang Mulia Tengku Kastriafuddin Shah Tengku Yaakob, Director of Cultural Centre, University Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP), and Mr. Mohamad Zaki Abdul Halim (UNIMAP), where it served as an avenue for MMU community to learn more about poetry in Bahasa Malaysia, particularly its basic concept of the modern and classic poem. At the end of the workshop, the participants expressed their creative ideas and imagination through poem writing and recitation.
