Research, Industrial Collaborations and Engagement Division (RICE) in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) organised the MMU Inaugural Lecture Series 2022 by Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohammad Faizal Ahmad Fauzi on 27 May 2022. In the session, he presented a discourse entitled ‘Artificial Intelligence for Digital Pathology: Challenges and Opportunities’.

The event was attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President; Prof. Ir. Dr. Wong Hin Yong, the Vice President, Academic and International Relations MMU; Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, the Vice President, Research, Industrial Collaborations & Engagement MMU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, the Dean of FOE.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Hafizal Mohamad, Head of Department (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) introduced Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohammad Faizal Ahmad Fauzi to the audience during the session.

In his lecture, Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohammad Faizal shared insights and understanding of the challenges and opportunities in implementing artificial intelligence (Ai) for digital pathology and his 25-year journey in the related fields.
