Research, Industrial Collaborations & Engagement (RICE) Division in collaboration with the Faculty of Law (FOL) organised the MMU Inaugural Lecture Series 2022 by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mohaimin bin Noordin Ayus on 25th March 2022. It was the second inaugural lecture for the faculty with a discourse entitled ‘Social Revolution and Discourse in Law and Shari’ah: Theory or Reality”.
The event was attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd. Su’ud, President of MMU and Yang Amat Arif Dato’ Setia Dr. Hj Mohd Na’im Hj Mokhtar, Chief Judge of Syariah Courts and as Director-General of Department of Syariah and Judiciary Malaysia and Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of RICE.
Prof. Dr. Nik Ahmad Kamal bin Nik Mahmod, a lecturer at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Law in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Head, for Governance, Law and Public Management (GPPa) Cluster of the National Professors Council (MPN) made an introduction of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mohaimin to the audience during the session.
The lecture which was delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mohaimin has shown a significant milestone in his academic career as a full professor and provided a platform for sharing his research idea with the community of the University, our stakeholders as well as the general public.
