A total of 80 students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) participated in a webinar entitled ‘From Trainee to Trainer’, conducted by Ms. Logesvary Dhanabalan, who is a Training Manager at MCIS Insurance Berhad, recently. Organised by a group of students from Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Human Resource Management programme for their Training and Development subject, the webinar aimed at introducing the lifestyle and job scope of a trainer in the industry. The speaker shared and engaged with the participants on her experience as an excellent trainer.
The participants gained a lot of insightful knowledge and tips on how to become a great trainer. The webinar was also graced by the presence of Dr. Lye Chun Teck, the Dean of FOB; Dr. Ng Tuan Hock, the Deputy Dean of Academic and International Relations; Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, the Deputy Dean of Research and Industrial Collaborations; Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, the Deputy Dean of Student Experience and Alumni; Dr. Cheah Chew Sze, the Head of the Human Resource Management and its Deputy, Dr. Kavitha Raman along with other faculty members.
