The Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulations (CTPR) Master Class 2021 was successfully concluded on 16 December 2021. Dato’ Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus, the Chief Operating Officer of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) officiated the closing ceremony virtually.
Mr. Niall Magennis, the Senior Director of Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), and Dr Bahma Sivasubramaniam, the Organising Chair of CTPR Master Class 2021 also delivered their speeches during the event. Also present were Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU, Prof. Ir Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Research, Industrial Collaborations and Engagement (RICE), MCMC, GSMA as well as MMU officers.
CTPR Master Class is an annual event, which jointly organised by MMU, MCMC, and GSMA, offering such diversity in views and opinions in discussing thought-provoking topics affecting the communication and multimedia industry. For this year, the programme was attended by 22 participants of government regulators from various countries such as Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, China and Korea.
