Multimedia University (MMU) through its Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA), and Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) have participated in the inaugural KLWKND 2021 Showcase from 25th November until 28th November 2021. The launching ceremony of the KLWKND was graced by Yang Berhormat Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin, Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia on the first day of the exhibition. Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART); Ts. Dr. Lim Kok Yoong, Dean of FCM; Ts. Shahfeeq Jibin, Deputy Dean of FCA and MMU officers.

A total of 106 artworks are displayed by the MMU team whereby FCM team is showcasing creative technology works by its students and academics, while FCA students are displaying their short films in the exhibition. On top of that, FCI team presented augmented and virtual reality games during the event. With its theme, Traverse: Motions through Time, the four-day showcase also features many interesting exhibitions and activities ranging from dance, music, opera, fashion, architecture, food, visual arts, design, creative products, traditional crafts, literature, history, and many more at Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur. Visitors can visit the KLWKND 2021 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
