STAD Organises Football Match between Staff and Students

In conjunction with Hari Sukan Negara, Student Affairs Division through its Sports Unit together with MMU Soccer Club organised a friendly football match between MMU staff and students on 9^th October 2021. The event was also attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU; Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) and Mdm Sri Kusumawati Mohd Daud, Director of STAD.

The objective of the event was to elevate the spirit of sportsmanship among the MMU community as well as to improve the level of mental health among students who are staying on-campus after such a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event also strengthened the relationship between staff and students. Apart from that, the Sports Unit is also planning for other sports activities to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle amongst the MMU community.
