Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)

ptptn-image-supportPerbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) is the Malaysian government body offering national educational loan for Malaysian students enrolling for Foundation, Diploma and Degree programmes. Amount of the loan is subject to PTPTN’s approval.

Eligibility

  1. Malaysian citizens only.
  2. Not exceeding 45 years of age on date of application.
  3. The monthly income of parents or guardians does not exceed RM50,000.
  4. Been offered a place at any IPTA/IPTS or Polytechnic by fulfilling entry requirements determined by Ministry of Higher Education and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
  5. For IPTA/IPTS and Polytechnic students, the applicable courses must obtain the approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and registered with PTPTN.
  6. For IPTS students, the applicable courses must obtain the Accreditation Certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and still be valid on the date of application.
  7. The remaining period of study upon application should not be less than (1) one semester.
  8. Have open a SSPN Prime / SSPN Plus account.
