The Faculty of Management (FOM) recognised its high-achieving students by hosting a virtual Dean’s List Award Ceremony on 10th June 2021. The ceremony acknowledged the students from all majors for their academic achievement during Trimester 2, 2020/2021. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Mohd Fairuz bin Abd Rahim, the Dean and he congratulated the students’ achievements in making themselves and their parents proud despite facing many predicaments and challenges in the teaching and learning process.
There were a total of 384 Dean’s List recipients for the Term 2020, encompassing students from 12 different programmes, including the Foundation in Management (60), Diploma in Finance (11), Diploma in Management (25), Bachelor of Analytical Economics (22), Bachelor of Business Management (39), Bachelor of Marketing (25), Bachelor of Accounting (70), Bachelor of Business Administration (Management with Multimedia) (1), Bachelor of Management (Distance Education) (1), Bachelor of Enterprise Management Systems (27), Bachelor of Finance (58) and Bachelor of Financial Engineering (45).
The faculty initiated the award to celebrate the exceptional scholarly achievements of the students who score 3.67 and above for their Grade Point Average (GPA) since 2018. This time, the awardees were invited to the live session and celebrate with their loved ones at home. May the recipients’ achievements inspire and nurture positive competitiveness among the students of FOM.
