MMU Gives Away Raya Groceries to the Needy

Multimedia University (MMU) through its volunteer team, Sahabat Sukarelawan MMU gave away food and grocery items to 150 needy families in Melaka and Selangor, recently. The programmes were held at Masjid Asy Syujaah, Merlimau, Masjid As-Sajidin Jasin, Masjid Al-Sultan Abdullah, Masjid Tanah and Masjid Jameatussolehah, Dengkil Selangor with the involvement of 35 volunteers from both campuses.

The recipients received the grocery items including flour, rice, egg, and others for their Ramadan and Eid Mubarak preparation. These programmes were made possible due to the RM8,000 contribution through public donation. The grocery items were presented by Dr. Mohd Rizal Abdul Razak, the Director of MMU Melaka Campus, and Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, the Vice President Research, Industrial Collaborations and Engagement (VP RICE).
