Prof Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, our President was invited to speak in the Virtual Presidential Forum 2021 on 26th January 2020. This inaugural Presidential Forum was hosted by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) in conjunction with the 4th International Conference on Computational Intelligence Information Systems (CIIS) Conference. With its theme “Digital Innovation in Higher Education Institution”, the forum started off with a keynote speech by Prof Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB.
Moderated by Assoc Prof Somnuk Phon- Amnuaisuk from UTB, the forum also invited other speakers namely Prof Dr Shamsul Sahibuddin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM); Prof Dr Ir. Jaka Sembiring, Vice-Rector Academic & Student Affairs of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia; Ir. Haji Jailani Haji Buntar, Chief Executive Officer of Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) and Mr. Alvin Li Peng, Solution Director of Huawei Technologies (B) Sdn Bhd. The speakers enlightened the audience on the impacts and challenges of digital innovation in the education setting. Prof. Mazliham also shared MMU’s experience and practices related to online learning and digitalisation.
