Six lecturers from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) are taking part in the prestigious International Virtual Art Exhibition (IVAE) from 15th December 2020 until 31st January 2021. In light of the current situation, the exhibition was presented through a virtual gallery which is in line with the theme “Before & After- New Normal in Art Exhibition”. This exhibition is organised by Asia International Community of Art and Design (AICAD). AICAD is a well-known organization among the art and design community in Asia as its membership consists of 26 higher learning institutions from across Asia.

The virtual exhibition was officially launched by Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. In her speech, she congratulated the organiser to host the exhibition despite the current constraints due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr. Hushinaidi Abdul Hamid, Dr. Lim Kok Yoong, Dr. Roopesh Sitharan, and Mr Mazlan Mahadzir were involved with the development, curation, and technical solutions for the exhibition. Besides operating as technical consultants for AICAD, they also are participating in the exhibition as artists together with Mdm Mastura Abdul Rahman and Mr. Hanafiah Waiman.
