We are pleased to share that Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, our President was conferred with ‘Cavaliere dell’ Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic) by the President of the Italian Republic on 29th September 2020 in Kuala Lumpur. The award was presented by His Excellency Mr. Christiano Maggipinto, the Ambassador of Italy to Malaysia.
The award recognises civilians and military expatriates and foreigners who have made distinguished contributions to the preservation and promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between other countries and Italy. Prof. Mazliham has strengthened the ties with the Italian Government and Institutions in promoting economic cooperation through education during his tenure with the previous institution. The University would like to offer its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Mazliham on this accomplishment and may his direction steer our University to greater heights!
