MMU and Paragon Vest Strengthen Strategic Partnership

On 14 April 2025, MMU further strengthened its commitment to student development with the launch of its official football team jersey and the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Paragon Vest Sdn. Bhd. The ceremony took place at Tropicana Gardens Mall, Damansara. Signing the pact were Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Vincent Lai Wai Onn, General Manager of Paragon Vest.

MMU and Paragon Vest began their partnership in 2022 through a sports sponsorship initiative. This renewed collaboration supports the MMU football team’s participation in the upcoming Division 1 and Division 3 of Liga Bolasepak IPT 2025. MMU remains one of the few private institutions competing at the top tier of varsity football in Malaysia. As part of the sponsorship, Paragon Vest will provide official Kronos home and away kits, travel gear, and coaching attire for the team.

Beyond uniforms, the sponsorship represents a meaningful investment in MMU’s student-athletes and their pursuit of excellence both on and off the field. Since 2007, MMU’s football team has demonstrated resilience and competitiveness, earning a reputation for standing strong against more established public universities. The university aims to build on this legacy by enhancing team management, coaching, and student engagement through a dedicated student-led “superclub” responsible for promotions, sponsorship, and logistics.

MMU expressed its deep appreciation to Paragon Vest not only for the continued support of MMU FC, but also for previous contributions to events such as SUKIPT 2022 and various student-led programmes. With this renewed partnership, MMU aspires to become Liga IPT champions in the near future, supported by a robust football ecosystem and committed industry partners. The university hopes this collaboration will open new avenues for initiatives that enrich the student experience and foster holistic development.
