On 14 April 2024, the Faculty of Management (FOM) warmly welcomed a delegation from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS), Indonesia. The delegation was led by Dr. Dwi Eko Waluyo and Dr. Respati Wulandari, accompanied by two lecturers and 12 postgraduate students.

The visit aimed to explore avenues for academic collaboration and provide the visiting students with valuable insights into MMU’s facilities and academic environment. Key areas of discussion included potential joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programmes, and other collaborative academic initiatives.

The initiative was spearheaded by a dedicated team of FOM academics—Madam Rekha Thangatorai, Dr. Tan Chuie Hong, Dr. Sunita Lylia binti Hamdan, Madam Rapiah binti Mohd Zaini, and Miss Fatin Zaida binti Fatin Zaidi—under the guidance of Deputy Dean for Student Experience & Alumni (SEA), Dr. Abby Ashraff bin Saprudin.

Highlights of the visit included a postgraduate briefing session at the SIRI Lab, conducted by Deputy Dean for Research and Industry Collaboration, Dr. Hasliza Binti Hassan. The delegation also enjoyed a comprehensive campus tour, including a briefing at the library focused on postgraduate resources. The visit also featured an engaging sharing session by MMU postgraduate student, Mr. Ezri Nor Syafren, who offered firsthand insights into the MMU student experience.

This meaningful engagement is expected to further strengthen the partnership between UDINUS and MMU, paving the way for future academic and cultural exchanges. The visit concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Dr. Abby Ashraff to the UDINUS delegation. Overall, it was a fruitful and enriching half-day session with the Faculty of Management.
