As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen industry ties and provide students with valuable real-world exposure, the Bachelor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) academic team from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) held a meeting with representatives from Huawei Technologies on 11 April 2025. The meeting took place at Monti Italian Restaurant, Elements Mall, offering an engaging setting for a meaningful discussion.
FIST was represented by Dr. Ong Lee Yeng, Dr. Jashila Nair A/P Mogan, and Dr. Goh Pey Yun, while the Huawei delegation included Ms. Delea Tan (Talent Ecosystem Manager), Ms. Nurul Azleen (Senior Partner Sales Manager), Mr. Nick Niu (Senior Vertical Solution Expert), and Mr. Larry Wang (Enterprise Training Manager).
The dialogue centered around potential collaboration avenues to align academic initiatives with current industry demands.
