MMU through its Faculty of Management (FOM), hosted an inspiring session featuring Adjunct Professor Dato’ Mohd Khalis Abdul Rahim, Group Chief Human Capital Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) on 18 April at the FOM theatre lecture.

Themed “Transformational Leadership in Times of Crisis,” the session brought together students, faculty members, and university leaders to explore how visionary leadership can turn adversity into opportunity. The event was also graced by MMU President Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, along with the university’s vice president and FOM Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Tan Booi Chen.

In his keynote, Dato’ Khalis shared his wealth of experience in navigating complex challenges, emphasising the importance of empathy, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership in uncertain times. The session concluded with a lively Q&A segment, where attendees engaged with Dato’ Khalis on practical leadership strategies. The university extends its deepest appreciation to Adjunct Professor Dato’ Khalis for his valuable insights and looks forward to more such engagements that inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.
