On 13 March 2025, the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) hosted representatives from Junior Chamber International (JCI) for a strategic discussion on fostering leadership and entrepreneurship. JCI, a global nonprofit organisation for young active citizens, has a strong presence in Malaysia, actively engaging in community, business, and leadership programmes nationwide.

The discussion was spearheaded by Ms. Putri Syaidatul Akma Mohd Adzmi, Deputy Director of Alumni Engagement, Career, and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED). Both parties explored potential collaboration opportunities aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and enhancing leadership development. By leveraging JCI’s extensive network and expertise, the partnership aspires to support EDC’s mission of cultivating a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders.

This collaboration is expected to open doors for networking opportunities, mentorship programs, entrepreneurial training, and leadership initiatives, further equipping MMU students with the skills and resources needed to thrive in the dynamic business landscape.
