A delegation from MMU, led by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, its President, visited Huawei’s Global Technical Assistance Centre at TRX, Kuala Lumpur on 10 February 2025. The MMU delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Choh Yau Meng, Director of Human Resources at Huawei, and had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art facilities.
During the visit, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions focused on exploring opportunities for leadership training and other potential collaborations. The aim was to strengthen the partnership and identify avenues to advance mutual goals in technology, innovation, and academic development. Accompanying Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham were Prof. Ir. Dr. Wong Hin Yong, Vice President of Academic and Innovative Learning; Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint; faculty deans and deputy dean as well as MMU officers.
This visit marks another significant step towards fostering deeper collaborations between MMU and Huawei, paving the way for impactful initiatives in leadership development, technological innovation, and educational excellence.
